Welcome to Srinagar, the Lake City. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel. Start your tour with a visit to the Shankaracharya Temple, perched on the highest hill of Srinagar, and explore the famous Mughal Gardens—Chashmashahi, Nishat, and Shalimar. These gardens were conceived as a paradise by the Mughal Emperors and are now popular picnic spots. Visit a local handicraft shop to purchase unique handcrafted items such as shawls, jackets, bed covers, paper mache, and carpets. In the evening, enjoy a leisurely stroll along Dal Lake and explore the local markets. Overnight stay at the hotel in Srinagar.
Embark on a full-day excursion to the picturesque "Meadow of Gold," Sonamarg. Located at an altitude of 2,743 meters above sea level, Sonamarg is the last stop of the Kashmir district before reaching Ladakh. Enjoy the fast-flowing Sindh River and its popularity for trout and masher fishing. Opt for a pony ride to one of the glaciers for some fun in snow and ice (additional cost). Return to your hotel in Srinagar in the evening for a comfortable overnight stay.
After breakfast, drive to Yusmarg, covering a distance of 57 km in about 2 hours. The drive is a delightful experience, with grassy pastures, dense pine forests, and stunning snow-capped mountains. After exploring Yusmarg’s beautiful landscape, return to Srinagar for an overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast, drive to Doodhpathri, known as the "Valley of Milk," located in the Budgam district within the Pir Panjal Range. This alpine valley is surrounded by snow-capped mountains and features the Achtar Glacier with its tributaries, Sokhnag and Shaliganga. Enjoy a peaceful time in Doodhpathri before returning to Srinagar for an overnight stay at the hotel.
Drive to Gulmarg, the "Meadow of Flowers," in the morning. The scenic route from Srinagar to Gulmarg is enchanting. Gulmarg is renowned for skiing and snowboarding and was developed as a European hill resort during the British Raj. Explore the European-style surroundings and the 18-hole golf course. Enjoy the Gondola Cable Car Ride, which is the world’s highest and Asia’s longest (tickets available online at your own cost). Engage in photography, horse riding, and shopping at this beautiful snow point. Return to Srinagar in the evening and stay overnight at a hotel in Gulmarg.
Early in the morning, leave for Pahalgam, the "Valley of Shepherds," located at the confluence of the Lidder River and Sheeshnag Lake. En route, visit the Awantipura Ruins, an 1100-year-old temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu built by King Awantivarman. Upon arrival in Pahalgam, enjoy the natural beauty or take a walk to Baisaran, about 2 km from Pahalgam. Overnight stay at the hotel in Pahalgam.
After breakfast, visit Aru Valley, Betab Valley, and Chandanwari by car (additional cost). Aru is a picturesque village located 11 km upstream the Lidder River, serving as a starting point for treks to the Kolahoi Glacier. Explore the beautiful meadow of Baisaran, surrounded by pine forests, and visit Hajan and Beetab Valley on the way to Chandanwari. Overnight stay at the hotel in Pahalgam.
After lunch, transfer back to Srinagar. Enjoy the scenic drive from Pahalgam to Srinagar and visit any remaining attractions in Srinagar. Check into a houseboat for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, transfer to Srinagar Airport for your departure, carrying with you the everlasting memories of your Kashmir adventure.
